Last week the ferry to Hrísey got a stop on both engines while entering the harbour. With a strong wind the steel ferry crashed into the vacuum infused boat Guðrun and crashed it into the harbour. Read more

A new Seigur 1000E has been delivered to Hjalteyri. The boat has a Yanmar 500 Hp engine installed. The top speed with a fully equipped boat was a 28 knots !!
