Seigla ehf. started in 2001 to specialize in building boats for the harsh conditions of the North Atlantic.  Since the year 2009, with the experience of Vacuum infusion moulding, Seigla start to focus also on other products where low weight and strength are required.

We offer a wide range of boats to satisfy the needs for every kind boat owner. 

The boat, named Seigur (meaning “Tough”), has a range from 6m to 24m.  Every boat is based on a basic model, which is then custom made according to the wishes of the customer, this way every Seigla boat is unique. 

The drop keel, makes the boat, without doubt the most stable and manoeuvrable fishing vessel to be found. 

Seigla has been modifying and building boats since 1994 mainly for the Icelandic market, which is very demanding due to the rough conditions in the waters surrounding Iceland.  This has not gone unnoticed, therefore demand for the boat Seigur in other countries is now growing rapidly.
