Seigla launches ASC (Automatic Start Control) system
The first Seigur has been delivered with the ASC (Auto Start Control) from Rafeyri. This system has been developed by Rafeyri for Seigla, as no other system could not cover all the requirements.
The system avoids overload of the electrical system. The system has 4 modes:- Auto select
- Manually select 230V from the inverter
- Manually select 230V from Generator set
- Manually select 230V from Shore connection
With the selector on auto, the system will monitor the consumer batteries and automatically start the 230 V Generator set when needed, then after a few sec. it will connect the Gen-set to the power distribution and the Inverter/charger will charge the batteries. If the Gen-set does not run after (5) starting attempts with (30)sec interval, an alarm LED will go on and the system does not start the engine again until a reset-button is pressed manually. When the batteries are fully charged the ASC will disconnect the Gen-set, let the engine run without load for 2 minutes and then shut down the engine.
A multistage interlock prevent the Gen-set and Shore power to be connected at the same time.
